Tech Media Éire is Ireland’s first AI-avatar video studio, providing AI-generated communication videos for businesses across hospitality, corporate, construction, healthcare, medtech, and beauty sectors.

We are the data controller, which means we decide how your information is used and why.

2. The Information We Collect (and Why)

We only collect information that genuinely helps us deliver our services.

a) Information you give us directly

  • Phone number

  • Business details

  • Scripts, images, or videos you upload

  • Payment information (via third-party processors)

Why:
To create your videos, respond to enquiries, send invoices, and deliver the service you’ve paid for.

b) Technical & usage information

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • Device/browser type

  • Pages viewed

  • Session duration

  • Cookies (see Cookie Policy)

Why:
To improve our website, understand what pages people find useful, and make sure the site functions properly.

c) AI-input information

If you provide:

  • staff photos

  • staff voice recordings

  • brand assets

  • site imagery

  • training scripts

…you confirm you have permission to use them.

Why:
These items are needed to generate your AI avatar videos.

d) Payment information

All payments are handled securely through third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
We never store or see your full card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for things you would reasonably expect:

  • To create and deliver your AI avatar videos

  • To respond to enquiries

  • To send invoices, project files, and updates

  • To improve our services

  • To meet legal or tax obligations

  • To keep your account secure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone. Ever.

4. Legal Grounds for Processing (GDPR Requirement)

Under GDPR, we use the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interest – to improve our website and client support

  • Client emails and invoices: 6 years, as required by Irish tax law

  • AI assets (scripts, images, footage): deleted upon request

  • Mailing list data: until you unsubscribe

9. AI, Images & Staff Permissions

If you upload any photos or videos of staff for avatar creation, you confirm:

  • You have their permission

  • They understand an AI avatar may be generated

  • They consent to internal or external use

Tech Media Éire cannot accept liability for assets uploaded without permission.

10. Children

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18.
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.

11. Security

We take security seriously.

We use:

  • Encrypted systems

  • Secure cloud storage

  • Strong access controls

  • Regular reviews of our security practices

No online service is 100% risk-free, but we work hard to protect your information.
